AMK Heating & Cooling has been proudly serving the Edwardsville, IL area as a trusted, family-owned HVAC provider since 1986. The company’s roots go back even further, thanks to the vision and passion of its founder, Marty White. Marty discovered his interest in HVAC while still in high school, later attending vocational school and serving in the U.S. Air Force, where he honed his technical skills working on HVAC systems at ICBM sites.

After leaving the military, Marty pursued an HVAC-focused degree and eventually began working in the industry to build a well-rounded foundation. While studying mechanical engineering at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), he decided to launch his own HVAC company—AMK Heating & Cooling. The business quickly grew as Marty devoted himself full-time to meeting the rising demand for new system installations, replacements, and service work.

In 2000 Darryl —Marty’s brother-in-law— came to work with Marty. After working together for more than 20 years & gaining extensive industry experience. Darryl purchased the business when Marty was ready to retire in 2021. Darryl is driven to continue the family legacy and grow the business while maintaining the same commitment to quality and customer care that AMK was founded on.

To this day, AMK Heating & Cooling remains a family-owned and operated business, known for its reliable service, technical expertise, and strong community ties.
